DCN Members Edoardo Celeste and Karolin Rippich participated in the BILETA Annual Conference 2026, which took place from 15-17 April 2026 at Aberystwyth University. The conference theme, “Technology is a useful servant but a dangerous master,” provided a critical backdrop for discussing the future of law, technology, and education. The two members from DCU Law and Tech Research Cluster presented their respective research on “The Data Centre Governance Deficit: An EU Digital Sovereignty Challenge” (Dr. Edoardo Celeste) and “Whose Best Interests? A Triad Analytical Framework for LGBTQI+, Children’s & Digital Rights” (Karolin Rippich).
