DCN members at the Lodz Cyber Hub were among the organizers of the 2026 Summer School on Internet Governance and International Law (SSIGIL), hosted at the University of Lodz and focused this year on cybersecurity and countering cybercrime.

Bringing together students, researchers, experts and future policymakers from across Europe and beyond, the five-day program combined lectures and workshops with a dedicated cybersecurity simulation exercise. The Summer School culminated in a student-drafted contribution to the UN Internet Governance Forum (IGF) 2026 in Nairobi.
