Radical Imaginings-Fellowships for NextGen Digital Activists

The Digital Constitutionalism Network co-organized a networking session alongside the Transnational Institute and IT for Change at IGF 2023 in Kyoto. Our session, titled “Radical Imaginings-Fellowships for NextGen Digital Activists,” was held on Monday, 9 October 2023, from 16:30-17:30 Kyoto Time (JST)/ 7:30-8:30 UTC at WS 9 – Room C-2.
We invited all young activists eager to make an impact, organizations aiming to enhance institutional capabilities, and grant-makers focused on nurturing the next generation of leaders to gather their insights on:
- Understanding the distinct needs and challenges faced by young activists engaged with CSOs, research entities, academic institutions, and trade unions.
- Pinpointing the pivotal areas and types of work in digital justice that often go unnoticed and underfunded.
- Determining immediate and mid-term action priorities and the most effective platforms for advocacy.
