SUMMARY:Radical Imaginings-Fellowships for NextGen Digital Activists
DESCRIPTION:The Digital Constitutionalism Network co-organized a networking session alongside the Transnational Institute and IT for Change at IGF 2023 in Kyoto. Our session\, titled “Radical Imaginings-Fellowships for NextGen Digital Activists\,” was held on Monday\, 9 October 2023\, from 16:30-17:30 Kyoto Time (JST)/ 7:30-8:30 UTC at WS 9 – Room C-2. \nWe invited all young activists eager to make an impact\, organizations aiming to enhance institutional capabilities\, and grant-makers focused on nurturing the next generation of leaders to gather their insights on: \n\nUnderstanding the distinct needs and challenges faced by young activists engaged with CSOs\, research entities\, academic institutions\, and trade unions.\nPinpointing the pivotal areas and types of work in digital justice that often go unnoticed and underfunded.\nDetermining immediate and mid-term action priorities and the most effective platforms for advocacy.\n\n
