DESCRIPTION:The Internet and Communication Policy Center (ICPC) research team was hosted by the University of Padova for a Joint Research Retreat on March 13-14\, 2025\, centered around Digital Sovereignty in Comparative Perspective. For the team members\, it was a fantastic opportunity for stimulating exchange and collaboration. \nOver two days\, the team delved into key topics like AI governance\, geopolitical challenges\, Indigenous Data Sovereignty\, and a comparative analysis of digital sovereignty strategies in the EU and India. The retreat allowed us to share ideas\, discuss preliminary findings\, and create a strong foundation for future research and publications. \nIt was a rewarding moment of reflection and learning\, setting the stage for exciting next steps in our journey.
